Controlled Parking
Municipalities all over the world are using controlled parking to regulate traffic flows and parking. In Greece the most striking controlled parking project is operational in the centre of Athens. This system is based on phone parking and e-permit system of Parkmobile Group Benelux and operated by Parkmobile Hellas S.A.. The daily operations is carried out by Urbans Systems’ management.
Based on the Athens project Urban Systems has created an enhanced controlled parking system. All components are build upon the latest technologies and have proven to be reliable and cost effective. The main features of the systems are :

Our offer is absolutely state of the art. We are using modern Pay & Display Machine, with the possibility for LPN control (no need for ticket, once you have paid, you do not have to back to your car), and distance monitoring. Payments can also be done by the Pay-By-Phone system. Via registering of all parking transactions in the Parking Rights Database the municipality will obtain management information, to be used for parking policies, such as number of place, type of parking places, pricing etc. A permit system is part of the total solution.
The parking control function is carried via the Sphynxx functionality.
