Panos A. Deros
Panos Deros is an entrepreneur with an extensive career founding, building, and selling companies in a range of sectors and industries. Today, his activities extend from retail, wholesale, distribution and government procurement, to systems integration, solutions, and services.
Early in his career, he managed one of Athens' most renowned luxury retail companies from which he span a series of boutique firms specializing in premium brands of luxury goods for the home and the carriage trade. From the original "Th. Deros, S.A.", he created "Dear Ltd", focused on "Art de la table"; he co-founded "Baccarat Hellas Ltd" dedicated to the product lines of the homonymous legendary French crystal manufacturer, and established stores to distribute exclusive lines of French luxury brands such as Bernardaud, Ercuis, and Raynaud. He launched "Omnishop", one of the first franchise retail chain in Greece dedicated to quality living with smart products from natural materials and built it to 35 stores before selling it to a major retail and distribution firm. Within the last ten years, he founded "Urban Systems, S.A.", a multilayered company that serves governmental organizations, municipalities and large entities providing novel solutions to address parking, security, health and hygiene needs of the modern society.
Panos Deros studied in England and Canada and holds a BA Honors from the University of Toronto with a double major in Economics and Political Science.
